DJAA Workshops

Written by DJ Pete. Posted in Blog

It was a privilege to go to QLD this week and do a workshop on the Sunshine coast and in Brisbane where we had a good number of professional DJ's entertainers attend to see what DJAA (DJ Alliance Australia) had to offer the industry.

We had Steve Bowen and Mimo from Bowens Entertainment, Glenn McKay from G&M Solutions and myself from DJ PeterD Entertainment Plus doing presentations on professionalism, Ethics, Life experiences and the Boomerang theory.

Everything we did blew everyone away as they had never seen people from the industry work as a team.

Special Moments

Written by DJ Pete. Posted in Blog

Special moments are a collection of many things.

By sitting with your entertainment supplier we can work on creating moments for your wedding day and night that will be remembered by you and your guests.
One moment can be simply the first dance between Groom and Bride and the Groom presents the bride with a gift.
Or a Father Daughter dance with a song that has special meaning, at the same time the Groom can ask his mum to join in.

The Difference

Written by DJ Pete. Posted in Blog

Would you like to know the difference between just music and a professional wedding entertainment supplier?

Well here it is:

Just music =
Exactly that just playing music and yes we can help it look like we have a played a major part part but almost anyone can just play music.

The Right Entertainment

Written by DJ Pete. Posted in Blog

You have decided to get married and it is now time to work out what plays an important part in the big day / night.

Don’t get me wrong everything plays a part and everything done right contributes in a big way to the success of your main event.
We have seen forums and surveys done where past brides have re visited what they had done and discussed what they would have done differently.

You guessed it many said they would have done the entertainment in a better way as prior to the event they thought it was just music! And anyone can play just music.

ABIA Awards

Written by DJ Pete. Posted in Blog

Hello to all our past and current clients,

We have found out that 20 out of 29 of our brides have voted us their number 1 supplier for the wedding day!

We are so glad you feel we are a valuable supplier and we have been honored to take a part in your special day.

We are looking forward to 2012 when we will have new equipment to improve our setup for weddings and for the corporate market. We are working closely with www.djaa.com.au and making sure many other companies come to the same level here in Victoria.

DJ Standards

Written by DJ Pete. Posted in Blog

I have just finished a weekend of work and some interviews and I'm still hearing of bad stories with DJ's.

For goodness sake people, if you want a reliable professional, be prepared to pay for one.
Check out www.djaa.com.au for a variety of professional members.

I have heard people say to expect to pay from $500 for a wedding DJ... make that more like $650 as a base cost and upwards for DJ's that will do extra lighting, interviews and who know how to run an event.
